Quotation Factory was founded in Eindhoven, Netherlands in 2018 by Wim Dijkgraaf. The company builds automated quoting software exclusively for metalworking manufacturers. The platform has been shaped by real metalworking companies including sheet metal shops, tube fabricators and structural steel companies across Europe.

[ Our Story ]
Started in Eindhoven in 2018. Still built for the factory floor.
In 2018, Wim Dijkgraaf recognized a problem that every metalworking company knows but rarely talks about. The best person in the business spent most of their time doing calculations that should not require their level of expertise. Spreadsheets, manual measurements, rules of thumb built up over twenty years. All of it locked in one person's head with no way to scale it.
With a background in mathematics and software development and a deep respect for how manufacturing actually works, Wim built the first version of Quotation Factory around one principle: the system should think the way a good estimator thinks, not the way a software developer thinks manufacturing should work.
The platform has been shaped by real metalworking companies from the start. Sheet metal shops in the Netherlands, tube fabricators in Belgium, structural steel companies across Europe. Every major capability has been built in response to an actual problem that actual manufacturers needed to solve.
